The race, in three figures
The race, in words
In the Open division at Rimini 2026, Greta Maria Contessa crossed the line in 1:34:46: 223rd of 514 women, faster than 57% of the field.
Legs and stations told different stories: 69% of the field beaten on the runs, 43% on the stations. If there was time left out there, it was on the wall balls, 2:15 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 4:15 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Rimini ran slow: the 468 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 1:59 slower here than at their other races. That was 5:11 off the time at Verona 2025.
