The race, in words
In the Open division at Berlin 2026, Jane Hull crossed the line in 1:25:01: 85th of 315 women, faster than 73% of the field.
Nowhere gained more than the burpee broad jumps: 3:32 on the median. On the sandbag lunges the field had the edge, by 0:50. The race faded late: the second half went 1:09 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
The field ran 3:47 slower at Berlin 2026 than at Cardiff 2026, which makes this time better than it looks.
