The race, in words
Mário Herák finished 136th of 913 men in the Open division at Helsinki 2026, in 1:11:22, faster than 85% of the field.
Nowhere gained more than the burpee broad jumps: 1:32 on the median. If there was time left out there, it was on the sandbag lunges, 0:53 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 1:12 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Helsinki ran fast: the 434 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 2:49 quicker here than at their other races.
