The race, in words
In the Pro division at Cardiff 2026, Gina Perring crossed the line in 1:19:30: 74th of 231 women, faster than 68% of the field.
A station race more than a running one: 81% of the field beaten on the stations, against 49% on the runs. Nowhere gained more than the sled pull: 1:25 on the median.
Cardiff ran fast: the 152 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 1:14 quicker here than at their other races. That was 4:04 off the time at Stockholm 2025.
