The race, in words
Monika Kromková & Zuzana Budzáková finished 198th of 255 women's teams in the Doubles Open division at Katowice 2026, in 1:32:52.
A station race more than a running one: 62% of the field beaten on the stations, against 13% on the runs. The sled pull was the standout, 0:37 quicker than the median and 30th of 255. A harder second half: 1:40 more lost to the middle of the field after halfway than before it.
Katowice ran fast: the 136 teams who also raced elsewhere this season were about 3:13 quicker here than at their other races.
