The race, in three figures
The race, in words
In the Open division at Amsterdam 2026, Norine Kattenberg crossed the line in 1:29:57: 116th of 288 women, faster than 60% of the field.
Legs and stations told different stories: 80% of the field beaten on the runs, 43% on the stations. If there was time left out there, it was on the burpee broad jumps, 3:01 behind the median. Stronger after halfway: 4:12 better against the middle of the field than before it.
Athletes who raced both Amsterdam 2026 and Heerenveen 2025 were 4:48 faster here, so this time looks a little better than it was.
