The race, in three figures
The race, in words
In the Open division at Stockholm 2025, Tamas Gellai crossed the line in 1:18:28: 444th of 1,315 men, faster than 66% of the field.
A station race more than a running one: 80% of the field beaten on the stations, against 47% on the runs. Nowhere gained more than the wall balls: 2:22 on the median. Paced to finish: the second half went 4:50 better against the middle of the field than the first.
Stockholm ran fast: the 1,004 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 1:00 quicker here than at their other races. That was 3:32 off the time at Verona 2025.
