In the Open division at Utrecht 2025, Matthias De Cauwer crossed the line in 1:26:35: 589th of 1,337 men, faster than 56% of the field.
On the burpee broad jumps the field had the edge, by 1:37. Stronger after halfway: 2:23 better against the middle of the field than before it.
Utrecht cost the whole field time: about 1:39 more than the average race this season, going by 1,123 athletes who raced both. 1:16 slower than at Belgium 2025, the previous Open race.
