The race, in words
In the Open division at Paris 2025, Michael Cottineau crossed the line in 1:18:30: 396th of 1,397 men, faster than 72% of the field.
A station race more than a running one: 83% of the field beaten on the stations, against 54% on the runs. The burpee broad jumps were the standout, 1:42 quicker than the median and 129th of 1,397. Stronger after halfway: 3:06 better against the middle of the field than before it.
Paris ran slow: the 1,951 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 2:11 slower here than at their other races. 1:10 slower than at Paris 1 2025, the previous Open race.
