The race, in words
In the Open division at Paris 2025, Hesham Abouzeid crossed the line in 1:24:45: 616th of 1,347 men, faster than 54% of the field.
Nowhere gained more than the burpee broad jumps: 1:30 on the median. If there was time left out there, it was on the wall balls, 0:34 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 1:36 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Paris ran slow: the 1,951 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 2:11 slower here than at their other races.
