The race, in words
In the Open division at Sao Paulo 2025, Leonardo Scheidt crossed the line in 1:23:12: 100th of 383 men, faster than 74% of the field.
A station race more than a running one: 90% of the field beaten on the stations, against 50% on the runs. Nowhere gained more than the wall balls: 1:47 on the median. A harder second half: 1:26 more lost to the middle of the field after halfway than before it.
Sao Paulo ran slow: the 131 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 5:07 slower here than at their other races.
