A station race more than a running one: 65% of the field beaten on the stations, against 35% on the runs. If there was time left out there, it was on the burpee broad jumps, 1:52 behind the median. Paced to finish: the second half went 10:24 better against the middle of the field than the first.
Sydney ran fast: the 951 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 1:48 quicker here than at their other races.
