The race, in three figures
The race, in words
Jan Meiners finished 143rd of 494 men in the Open division at Cologne 2025, in 1:16:49, faster than 71% of the field.
Nowhere gained more than the sandbag lunges: 1:47 on the median. A harder second half: 1:05 more lost to the middle of the field after halfway than before it.
Athletes who raced both Cologne 2025 and Karlsruhe 2025 were 3:22 faster here, so this time looks a little better than it was.
