Legs and stations told different stories: 92% of the field beaten on the runs, 72% on the stations. Nowhere gained more than the sled pull: 0:39 on the median. The race faded late: the second half went 1:03 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Bilbao ran fast: the 251 teams who also raced elsewhere this season were about 1:23 quicker here than at their other races.
