The race, in three figures
The race, in words
In the Open division at Ciudad de Mexico 2024, Luis Villegas crossed the line in 1:33:38: 328th of 920 men, faster than 64% of the field.
The wall balls were the standout, 2:11 quicker than the median and 74th of 920. If there was time left out there, it was on the burpee broad jumps, 1:14 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 4:44 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Athletes who raced both Ciudad de Mexico 2024 and Mexico City 2024 were 8:20 faster here, so this time looks a little better than it was.
