The race, in words
Ann Durrell finished 240th of 285 women in the Open division at Manchester 2024, in 1:47:03.
On the wall balls the field had the edge, by 5:55. A harder second half: 5:28 more lost to the middle of the field after halfway than before it.
Athletes who raced both Manchester 2024 and Sports Direct HYROX London 2024 were 3:18 slower here, so the course was tougher than the clock suggests.
