The race, in words
Marcin Szymański finished 637th of 776 men in the Open division at Poznan 2024, in 1:41:21.
The sandbag lunges cost the most time: 2:38 slower than the median. A harder second half: 2:29 more lost to the middle of the field after halfway than before it.
Athletes who raced both Poznan 2024 and Gdansk 2024 were 3:23 faster here, so this time looks a little better than it was.
