The race, in words
In the Doubles Open division at Stuttgart 2024, Viktor Bauer & Alexander Mencin crossed the line in 1:08:46: 90th of 308 men's teams, faster than 71% of the field.
Nowhere gained more than the sandbag lunges: 0:47 on the median. If there was time left out there, it was on the wall balls, 1:44 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 3:08 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Stuttgart ran fast: the 234 teams who also raced elsewhere this season were about 1:22 quicker here than at their other races.
