Legs and stations told different stories: 98% of the field beaten on the runs, 49% on the stations. The race faded late: the second half went 3:21 worse against the middle of the field than the first. Quick through the roxzone: 4:44, ahead of 94% of the field.
Hannover ran fast: the 256 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 2:38 quicker here than at their other races. 11:42 faster than at Maastricht European Championships 2023, the previous Open race.
