The race, in three figures
The race, in words
1:37:51 at Rome 2026 put Caroline Kirmann 178th of 334 women in the Open division.
Legs and stations told different stories: 69% of the field beaten on the runs, 27% on the stations. If there was time left out there, it was on the wall balls, 3:17 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 2:25 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Rome ran slow: the 626 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 1:52 slower here than at their other races. That was 3:28 off the time at Toulouse 2026.
