The race, in three figures
The race, in words
Isabell Buchacher finished 120th of 239 women in the Open division at Rome 2026, in 1:32:45.
Nowhere gained more than the burpee broad jumps: 1:04 on the median. If there was time left out there, it was on the sandbag lunges, 1:24 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 2:24 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Rome ran slow: the 626 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 1:52 slower here than at their other races. That was 3:44 off the time at Helsinki 2026.
