The race, in words
In the Open division at Karlsruhe 2026, Eva Benito Garagorri crossed the line in 1:33:47: 201st of 490 women, faster than 59% of the field.
Legs and stations told different stories: 56% of the field beaten on the runs, 22% on the stations. Nowhere gained more than the burpee broad jumps: 1:29 on the median. If there was time left out there, it was on the sandbag lunges, 1:05 behind the median.
Karlsruhe ran slow: the 376 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 3:02 slower here than at their other races.
