The race, in words
In the Open division at Gdansk 2026, Lena Nord crossed the line in 1:28:47: 275th of 775 women, faster than 65% of the field.
Nowhere gained more than the wall balls: 0:47 on the median. If there was time left out there, it was on the sandbag lunges, 1:16 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 1:10 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Gdansk ran fast: the 344 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 2:15 quicker here than at their other races. 1:27 slower than at Stockholm 2025, the previous Open race.
