The race, in words
In the Doubles Open division at Geneva 2026, Pamela Allo & Maurane Maeder crossed the line in 1:26:30: 153rd of 308 women's teams, faster than 50% of the field.
Legs and stations told different stories: 54% of the field beaten on the runs, 34% on the stations. If there was time left out there, it was on the wall balls, 1:05 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 1:03 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Geneva gave the field time back: about 0:53 faster than the average race this season, by 508 teams who raced both.
