The race, in words
Jorge Andrés Castañeda Mejía finished 523rd of 850 men in the Open division at Mexico City 2026, in 1:44:01.
On the sled push the field had the edge, by 1:05. The race faded late: the second half went 3:12 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Athletes who raced both Mexico City 2026 and Guadalajara 2026 were 2:38 faster here, so this time looks a little better than it was.
