The race, in words
In the Open division at Rimini 2026, Aneta Zając crossed the line in 1:28:51: 143rd of 514 women, faster than 72% of the field.
A station race more than a running one: 82% of the field beaten on the stations, against 59% on the runs. Nowhere gained more than the sled pull: 2:19 on the median. A harder second half: 1:34 more lost to the middle of the field after halfway than before it.
Rimini ran slow: the 468 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 1:59 slower here than at their other races. That was 2:06 off the time at Warsaw 2026.
