The race, in words
1:51:45 at Bangkok 2025 put Megan Smith 212th of 401 women in the Open division.
A station race more than a running one: 81% of the field beaten on the stations, against 18% on the runs. Nowhere gained more than the wall balls: 2:33 on the median. The race faded late: the second half went 15:24 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Bangkok ran slow: the 317 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 2:17 slower here than at their other races. That was 30:59 off the time at Malaga 2025.
