The race, in words
Richard Smith finished 1,494th of 1,860 men in the Open division at Sports Direct HYROX London 2024, in 1:38:27.
If there was time left out there, it was on the wall balls, 3:47 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 3:51 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Athletes who raced both Sports Direct HYROX London 2024 and London 2023 were 3:34 faster here, so this time looks a little better than it was.
