The race, in three figures
The race, in words
In the Open division at Fort Lauderdale 2024, Chris Locke crossed the line in 1:27:15: 156th of 372 men, faster than 58% of the field.
Nowhere gained more than the wall balls: 1:15 on the median. If there was time left out there, it was on the sandbag lunges, 1:36 behind the median. The race faded late: the second half went 1:08 worse against the middle of the field than the first.
Athletes who raced both Fort Lauderdale 2024 and Miami 2023 were 16:15 faster here, so this time looks a little better than it was.
