The race, in three figures
The race, in words
Ryan Frasier finished 262nd of 436 men in the Open division at Dallas 2023, in 1:42:13.
Legs and stations told different stories: 52% of the field beaten on the runs, 30% on the stations. If there was time left out there, it was on the sandbag lunges, 3:12 behind the median. A harder second half: 4:36 more lost to the middle of the field after halfway than before it.
Dallas ran slow: the 250 athletes who also raced elsewhere this season were about 1:59 slower here than at their other races. 22:00 faster than at Miami 2023, the previous Open race.
