The race, in three figures
The race, in words
In the Open division at Warsaw 2026, Salla Rusila crossed the line in 1:16:14: 43rd of 281 women, faster than 85% of the field.
A station race more than a running one: 98% of the field beaten on the stations, against 78% on the runs. The sandbag lunges were the standout, 4:42 quicker than the median and 2nd of 281. A harder second half: 1:56 more lost to the middle of the field after halfway than before it.
Athletes who raced both Warsaw 2026 and Stockholm 2025 were 5:35 faster here, so this time looks a little better than it was.
