The race, in words
In the Pro division at London Excel 2025, Dean Evans crossed the line in 1:12:58: 194th of 462 men, faster than 58% of the field.
The sandbag lunges were the standout, 0:37 quicker than the median and 123rd of 462. The sled pull cost the most time: 0:41 slower than the median. Stronger after halfway: 1:14 better against the middle of the field than before it.
Athletes who raced both London Excel 2025 and Cardiff 2025 were 2:01 faster here, so this time looks a little better than it was.
