A station race more than a running one: 90% of the field beaten on the stations, against 55% on the runs. Nowhere gained more than the wall balls: 2:46 on the median. Paced to finish: the second half went 3:39 better against the middle of the field than the first.
This was a quick course. Against their other races this season, the people who raced Malaga gained about 0:40. 3:05 faster than at Poznan 2024, the previous Pro race.
